冠詞使用方法
請(qǐng)教老師們:As president of the university,I am proud to welcome you to this university. 中為何president前沒(méi)限定詞a/the呢？在此先謝謝老師了！
這里不是沒(méi)限定詞，而是被省略了，當(dāng)然不省略也是可以的。《葛傳槼英語(yǔ)慣使用方法詞典》the詞條中有如此的說(shuō)明：
19.在要緊職位的名字的前面總是省去“the”；比如：
He held the post of headmaster for fifteen years.
He is manager of a bank.
She is editor of a magazine for women.
John, king of England, signed magna Charta in 1215.
