英文簡(jiǎn)歷是使用英文寫的簡(jiǎn)歷。英文簡(jiǎn)歷(resume)并無(wú)固定不變的單一形式，應(yīng)聘者完全可以根據(jù)個(gè)人的具體情況來確定采用何種形式，靈活設(shè)計(jì)。

　　第一次真正面臨職場(chǎng)的同學(xué)，除了學(xué)位證書，但工作經(jīng)歷有限的你該如何開拓自己的職業(yè)與事業(yè)呢?要獲得一個(gè)你熱愛的工作，你必須有一個(gè)極好的簡(jiǎn)歷讓HR眼前一亮，尤其對(duì)于現(xiàn)在很多希望申請(qǐng)外企，海外實(shí)習(xí)或者工作的同學(xué)，英文簡(jiǎn)歷是非常重要的。英文語(yǔ)法和句式上的問題略過，那屬于英文寫作。這里只說文字設(shè)計(jì)(typography)，雖然高級(jí)的文字設(shè)計(jì)和內(nèi)容從來密不可分。問題在于具體注意些什么。以下十條是最基本的規(guī)則，若能做到，你的英文簡(jiǎn)歷已經(jīng)比 90% 的中國(guó)人(包括英文系學(xué)生)的規(guī)范美觀了。

　　一、標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)一律使用半角。

　　二、逗號(hào)、句號(hào)、分號(hào)、冒號(hào)、感嘆號(hào)、問號(hào)和它們后面的字符之間必須留一個(gè)半角空格。

　　錯(cuò)誤：Hi,I‘m an entrepreneur.Can you make this app for me for free?Because,you know,I have this brilliant idea but I don’t know how to code.

　　正確：Hi, I‘m an entrepreneur. Can you make this app for me for free? Because, you know, I have this brilliant idea but I don’t know how to code.

　　三、逗號(hào)、句號(hào)、分號(hào)、冒號(hào)、感嘆號(hào)、問號(hào)和它們前面的字符之間不可留任何空格。

　　錯(cuò)誤：I think our current version is too skeuomorphic ,why don‘t we ,uh ,make it flatter so that it looks more metro-ish?

　　正確：I think our current version is too skeuomorphic, why don’t we, uh, make it flatter so that it looks more metro-ish?

　　四、將長(zhǎng)串?dāng)?shù)字分開寫，降低辨識(shí)的難度。

　　錯(cuò)誤：13927396856

　　正確：139 2739 6856 或 139-2739-6856

　　五、書名、雜志名、電影名、音樂專輯名、英文中出現(xiàn)的外文(包括拼音，人名除外)用斜體。

　　錯(cuò)誤：In 2008, I created this amazing service during my internship at Playboy which is totally LBS avant la lettre.

　　正確：In 2008, I created this amazing service during my internship at Playboy which is totally LBS avant la lettre.

　　六、對(duì)于電話區(qū)號(hào)應(yīng)用不同的符號(hào)區(qū)分。

　　錯(cuò)誤：+86-139-2739-6856

　　正確：(86) 139 2739 6856 或 (86) 139-2739-6856

　　七、對(duì)于有序列表，應(yīng)采用「阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字 + 英文句點(diǎn) + 半角空格」的方式。

　　錯(cuò)誤：

　　Three words I hate:

　　1.Innovation.

　　2, Leverage.

　　3 Synergy.

　　正確：

　　Three words I hate:

　　1. Innovation.

　　2. Leverage.

　　3. Synergy.

　　八、括號(hào)弧線外要留空格，弧線內(nèi)不要。

　　錯(cuò)誤：Byte Press(née Tangcha ) is the best Chinese-language eBook app. Period.

　　正確：Byte Press (née Tangcha) is the best Chinese-language eBook app. Period.

　　但同一個(gè)單詞內(nèi)的括號(hào)例外：

　　錯(cuò)誤：After the linguistic turn, people are getting addicted to pretentious bracketed words such as ‘(ex) plain (ed)’.

　　正確：After the linguistic turn, people are getting addicted to pretentious bracketed words such as ‘(ex)plain(ed)’.

　　九、用彎引號(hào)，不要用直(的彎)引號(hào)。

　　錯(cuò)誤''Bazinga!'' 'You are pwned!'

　　正確：“Bazinga!” ‘You are pwned!’

　　十、正確使用各種短橫：em dash (—) 是破折號(hào)，en dash (–) 用來連接年份、時(shí)間，是「到」的意思，hyphen (-) 是連字符。

　　錯(cuò)誤：Glenn Gould (1932-1982) is probably my one and only hero - the person who taught me to think differently well before Steve Jobs.

　　正確：Glenn Gould (1932–1982) is probably my one and only hero — the person who taught me to think differently well before Steve Jobs.

　　注意：

　　1. 若寫作時(shí)用兩個(gè) hyphen (--) 代替破折號(hào)，Word 等文書處理軟件會(huì)自動(dòng)將其轉(zhuǎn)為 em dash。有監(jiān)于 em dash 輸入不便(Mac 上是 shift + option + -)，這也是英文寫作通用的替代法。

　　2. 破折號(hào)(em dash)兩端可各留一半角空格，亦可不留。此乃英美習(xí)慣之不同，無(wú)對(duì)錯(cuò)之分。惟請(qǐng)?jiān)谕�一份�?jiǎn)歷中保持統(tǒng)一。
